Description
Building huts. Who didn’t grow up with this? In grandma’s attic using sheets, clothes pegs and chairs. Or with branches, moss and rope in the woods? Creating your own world: everything is possible, anything goes, no rules, just imagination.
Fantasy Forts GIGA, suitable for children between the age of four and twelve, is the modern version of this. Sixty-four plates, more than 20 square meters of building material, with which children can go in all directions. A towering high princess’ castle? A wide pirate fort? This isn’t a problem with the ingenious double sided Velcro system. This allows the plates – which have a natural and adventurous look and feel – to be attached to anything that is available.
Less static than a ready-made wigwam, much more dynamic than a video game. Because the sky is the limit, even if you are only eight years old.

Genuinely very happy with product. My only complaint would be that its not printed on both sides. It does mean you could potentially colour the cardboard looking side yourself. We have built ours inside out so the outside is plain cardboard (which leaves it to your imagination) and the inside has the lovely atmospheric wooden paneling. We have used the packaging box to make some castle wall ramparts using the bottom of their pieces as a template. It creates a castle shape to the cardboard exterior that matches in colour and also acts as a guard to shop the cats jumping on top which would be an issue as one of my cats is a giant and weighs more than 5 kilos. We also made a hobbit style door which adds to the feel of building a house / den. Structurally, it’s solid if you strap it all properly and pay attention to how you position each board. We have currently built a structure 5 panels long, 2 deep and 2 to 4 high so it’s fairly big and is solid. If you have excitable kids who charge into things or kicks out their legs then you could have problems with damaging pieces. Overall if you can apply some logic and physics to your build ideas than it’s brilliant and simple to construct. If you find yourself with excess IKEA cardboard and crafty idea or two then you can add some wonderful additions to this kit. Me and my wife are available for work if you want some ideas for extras Fantasy Forts if your reading this. 😁😉
Oh, also seen some negative reviews mentioning the roll of velcro tape you get with each set being too little. It is not! I brought an extra roll because of those reviews and I am now sitting here next to a giant Fort with an extra roll plus nearly a half roll. 6 inch strips are big enough for most. Connections points.
